To me from the Tate collection, this was Barlow's #1802, described at the bottom of page 111 of The F. John Barlow Mineral Collection. The description from the book: Magnificent and rare var. achroite (pastel-zoned elbaite) with multiple growth terminations. The specimen is a transparent, flawless, and untinted achroite crystal with a central pastel green zone grading into a slightly cloudy pink. This is not a large specimen, but is as fine as an achroite gets from a classic achroite locality. ----- Photo by/©2010 Richard Geiger
